A tour of Llandudno as seen from the Great Orme. Llandudno is a town on the north coast of Wales, in the UK. Llandudno has two beaches, a lot of shops, some spectacular views, a lot of sheep, some mountain goats, spectacular views, sheep, and old people. The old people are there mainly because it’s so flat in town and they can whiz around in their electric scooters terrorising teenagers and listening to the latest phat beats loudly enough to cause a general nuisance. The goats are here because they were imported from India many decades ago. The sheep are here because otherwise it wouldn’t be Wales. Though I have sometimes wondered whether Wales is a misnomer, I’d find the place more entertaining if it were dotted with families of whales about the place as opposed to festooned with sheep. Perhaps ‘Sheep’ was not surreal enough to name a country after.
In this video there are no old people and no terrorising of teenagers. There are sheep though. And nice views. And some guy that keeps talking in half sentences that can barely be heard over the wind. There are no whales. This saddens me.

if it was yesterday (as in monday) you might possibly be able to make out two tiny specs (me and gemma) to the bottom of the little orme. we went for a walk too. around 6ish.
lots and lots of starfish. and mussles. and strange nipple like creatures hanging onto the rocks.

Filmed on Saturday I think, but it took me a while to get around to compiling it all into one video. The embeded Vimeo quality is pretty bad, the downloadable file is better (but 96Mb).
I've still not walked around the bottom of the Little Orme. Been over the top, it's very nice.

The wind prevents hearing you clearly some of the time.

The video was shot with my FujiFilm Z5, it's just a camera with a movie mode. The quality is a lot better if you download the version in the side bar instead. Vimeo's better than YouTube, but still compresses it a bit too much.
