The old WWF Earthly Goods shopping basket

I found this page to be confusing, mostly due to the over abundance of buttons (there are ten in this particular case, even though the basket contains only one product!). There was a clear lack of focus which may have made it difficault for the user to know intuativly how to proceed further.
