5 reasons I won't be getting on the open id train
Kyle Neath gives five reasons why the implementation of OpenID isn’t delivering what it ought to.
It covers some pretty big issues, such as the fact that with most OpenID providers have no method available to recover your OpenID should they close down. Interesting reading. I’ve got an OpenID and use this very website for logins - but I’ve found the whole thing to be confusing, slow, frustrating, and at time simply inoperable (I can not login to Magnolia with my OpenID. At all.)
