Congratulations
Woah - it’s Saturday already. I’m also rather ashamed to admit that I didn’t actually wake up until almost 1pm today, which is doubly shameful when I went to bed early last night. I’ve had around 14hrs of sleep, and I mean sleep not just ‘lying in bed being a lazy student’.
My apologies to people who’ve been effected by a CSS oversight of mine. The recently created ‘Of The Moment’ link-list on the welcome page will have overlayed itself on the main text area on most people’s screens, making a huge mess and leaving the page mostly unreadable. That has now been fixed and ‘Of The Moment’ is back up. That’s what happens when you have a good idea late at night and shove it into existence as fast as you can.
I’m afraid this week has been another non-entity socially. Mike and myself watched ‘The One’ at his place and that’s it for this week. Often when I was younger and complained about school being rubbish my parents would tell me ‘These are some of the best days of your life, just wait till you start working’. I never believed them, but it turns out having a job drastically cuts down on anything else you might want to do with life. Like living it. I’m going to have to do something about that, because staying in is starting to get me down a bit, and on past experience I know winter is only going to make my mood worse. That isn’t to say I don’t like winter, quite the opposite, a proper winter when there’s people to share it with and time to enjoy it is brilliant; but when all your free time is essentially ‘night time’, it’s wet, windy and overcast all the time, and 6pm starts feeling more and more like 11pm…it gets a little depressing. It’s prime ‘snuggling with a girlfriend’ season though. Just an observation.
In other news it seems Vickie and Rob are getting engaged very soon! I’m really happy for them, so congratulations to both of you I’ll say no more, because I don’t think it’s my place, but I just had to say Congratulations …Congratulations!

Well I’m glad we agree
Well, i get a proper holiday this Christmas, so that’s going to be a huuuge plus point, as for the rest of winter - it’s what you make it I guess!
