Windows Vista: Speech Recognition

It works very well, as demonstrated in this video. This is something I think Linux isn’t going to get for a very long time. Unfortunately.

    Looks pretty interesting, still needs a little more work. Couldn't personally see myself talking to my PC…The concept seems a little odd….Quite funky though!

    I don't think it needs much more work, as the guy states, he had to repeat himself because he wasn't waiting for the reader to finish parsing the screen. He also said it was running slower because he was capturing video at the same time. I thought it did pretty well, especially with his accent - even I didn't understand a few words he was saying.

    I can't see myself talking to the main PC very often either, but I sure could see myself talking to a Media Center PC in the living room.
