Colour processing techniques in Photoshop

Phil Holland is an awesome photographer whom I know because he hangs out on one of the forums I’m a long time member of. What had managed to completely escape my attention until today is that he works at Rhythm and Hues Studios, a visual effects and imagery company that even I (a common pleb) have heard of. The reason I noticed this today was because he wrote a great forum post in the ‘RAW vs JPG’ thread, and mentioned using one of the techniques he talks about while working on The Chronicles of Riddick. Phil has kindly provided a URL I could link to, as I thought his post was well worth sharing, even outside the forum. So, if you’re a photographer, go take a look. Check out the rest of his site while you’re there, awesome photos!
