Internet users suffer banner blindness

We tend to filter out advertisment banners from the page we are reading. Especially animated and flashing banners. Well, no surprise there then.

I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on an advertisement online, excepting on a site that I want to support and I know the advertising revenue is going to the site owner. In any case, I have AdBlock installed in Firefox, and therefore I don’t see the vast majority of ads anyway.
